He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman L. Bergey and Bessie Bergey (Bergey); his wife Kathryn Bergey (Ziegler); his children, Roy Z. Bergey and Fern Z. Yothers; his daughter-in-law Lourene C. Bergey; and his siblings, Roy B. Bergey, Anna Derstine, Norman B. Bergey and Lester B. Bergey.
He is survived by: his brother Franconia Mennonite Church; his friends, Rook and Franconia; his sister Elva Mininger of Souderton; his son Glenn Bergey of Telford, PA; his children-in-law, Elaine A. Derstine (Merril) of Souderton, PA and Robert Yothers of Souderton, PA; his grandchildren, Kevin (Teresa Bergey), Mark (Darla Bergey), Luke (Rachelle Bergey), Joanna (Matt Shisler), Renita (Jason Shelly), Glenda (Ben Leatherman), Laura (Wes Schmidt), Robert Yothers Jr., Betsy (Jeremy Moyer) and Ben (Linsey Yothers); his great grandchildren, Micah, Alycia Bergey, Tyler, Sara Bergey, Kaitlyn, Andrew Kriebel, Rissa Bergey, Lincoln, Jill Bergey, Elle Bergey, Lane Bergey, Tess Bergey, Rachel Bergey, Heidi Bergey, Ashlyn Bergey, Mattasyn, Stefanos Stamoulacatos, Maura Shisler, Bryce, Abigail Shelly, Brandt Shelly, Brooklyn Shelly, Trey Leatherman, Levi Leatherman, Landon Schmidt, Natalia Schmidt, Audrey Schmidt, Jenna Moyer, Adam Moyer and Braeden Yothers; and his great great grandchildren, Eli Bergey, Aiden Bergey, Jade Bergey, Cole Bergey, Oliver Bergey, Teagan Bergey, Nolan Bergey, Kinsley Kriebel, Wyatt Kriebel and Cristos Stamoulacatos.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Franconia Mennonite Church (613 Harleysville Pike, Telford, PA 18969). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
