It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eva D. Alderfer of Souderton, Pennsylvania, born in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 22, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley H. Alderfer; her sisters, Miriam Ruth (Alpheus), Mary D. Rittenhouse and Ruth Hunsberger (Wilmer); her sister-in-law Alice Clemmer Rittenhouse; and her brother John D. Rittenhouse.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Souder (Feryl) of Harleysville, David (Pat) of Centerville, PA, Phillip of Wayne, PA and Michael (David L. Culp) of Downingtown, PA.; her grandchildren, Jeremy Souder (Sonja Srama-Souder), Kara Derstine (Zach) and Cheyenne Rutherford (James); her great grandchildren, Marlena Grace, Charlotte Louise, Lucille Eva Souder, Celeste Josephine, Stellan Christian, Scarlett Genevieve Derstine, Ronan James and Sloane Ithan Rutherford; her brothers, Norman D. Rittenhouse and James D. Rittenhouse (Esther); and her sister-in-law Esther Mae Godshall. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as other friends.
