He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Green and Lillian Green; his wife Jean; his daughter Peggy Day; his half-brother Robert Green; his siblings, Raymond "Ray" Green, William "Bill" Green, Max Green and Margaret Hains; and his sister-in-law Beverly Green.

He is survived by: his son Michael Green (Betty) of Souderton, PA; his grandchildren, Candace Day (Tim Ellsworth) of Chesterfield, IN, Adam Green (Morgan) of Staten Island, NY and Emily Green (Adam Hill) of Lansdale, PA; his great grandchild Anwen Green of Staten Island, NY; his siblings, Betty King (Alan) of Prospect, TN and Jack Green (Barbara) of Elwood, IN; his siblings-in-law, Lois Green of Elwood, IN, Dorothy "Dot" Green of Georgia and William "Bill" Hains of Anderson, IN; and his son-in-law William Day (Kay) of Middletown, IN. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
