William Shaver Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Shaver (Somerset, Pennsylvania), born in Hooversville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 1, 2019 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John P. Shaver and Elsie Pearl Shaver (Gindlesperger); his former wife Dorothy Louise Gindlesperger; his wife Dorothy Metzger; his daughter Ruth Ann Speicher; his daughter-in-law Carol Shaver (Rayman); and his siblings, Merle, Charles, Richard Shaver and Edna Hoover.
He is survived by: his children, Gloria Jean Welker (Terry), William E. Shaver (Marsha), Cumberland, MD and Randy D. Shaver (Sharon Brantmeier); his son-in-law Mark Speicher; and his grandchildren, Mark Speicher, Brenda Gerhardt, Bradley Speicher, Darren Welker, Dana McGurk, Jeff Shaver, Mike Shaver, Allison Haas and Elizabeth Shaver. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
