Walter Edward Miller Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Walter Edward Miller of Somerset, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 15, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl E. and Mary W. Miller (Koones); and his siblings, Nancy Ellen Ritchey, Sarah Morgan, Robert Miller, Mary Ethel Spencer and Daniel Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Myra Miller (Mills); his children, Loran Miller (Penny) of Clarksville, OH, Steven Miller (Tammy) of Boswell, PA, Renee Gindlesperger (Kevin A. Miller) of Berlin, PA, Kevin Miller (Tory) of Belmont, NC and Brenda Miller-Eaby (Robert) of King George, VA; his grandchildren, Ryan, Caleb, Kyle Miller, James Miller, Orlo (Lori), Levi St (Elise), Jami Burket (Greg), Tyler, Kaitlyn Gindlesperger, Yale Loucks, Layton (Haylee), Kaydance, Zoey, Liyah Miller, Jaydon (Myla Bush), Rayela Miller-Eaby, Bobby (Esther) and Kayli Eaby; and his great grandchildren, Sadie, Silas, Shawn St. Clair, Joey, Alina Pugh, Hadley and Gage Burket. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services (494 W Main St, Somerset, PA 15501). Viewing will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Pleasant Union Church (259 Pleasant Union Church Rd, Clearville, PA 15535). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Milford Church (368 Bando Road, Somerset, PA 15501), Pleasant Union Church or any veteran's organization in memory of Walter.
