He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Newbegin and Florence Newbegin (Corriveau); and his brother Robert Newbegin. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Mae Hartsgrove; his children, Pamela Grantham of Lake Alfred, FL and Lon Grantham (Rachel) of Lake Wylie, SC; his grandchildren, Jason Grantham (Laura), Acadia, Camden and Kaden Grantham; his great grandchildren, Mason and Liam; and his siblings, Terry Newbegin (Diane), Larry Newbegin (Patricia) and Gay Fieg.
