She was predeceased by: her parents, E. Elmer Heiple and Sadie Heiple (Weighly); and her siblings, Martha Daniels, Ruth Krompholtz, Emily Castellani, Cora Vish, Fred and George Heiple.
She is survived by: her husband Robert P. Szymanski; her children, Bruce R. (Christine) and Debra S. (Mark Anderson); and her grandchildren, Jesse Riesmeyer, Kara Szymanski (Matt Bierman), Erin Szymanski (Rob Bradley), Elizabeth (Dan Catrambone), Connie Wynn, Michael Anderson (Erica), Trevor Anderson (Melinda) and Troy Szymanski. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
