He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Alvin and Lucy Catherine Sheeler (Hoffman); and his daughter Rebecca Lynne. He is survived by: his wife Naomi Sheeler (Will); his children, Debra Jane Newman, Susan Kay Berkebile (Arnold), Robert James Sheeler (Tammy) and Beth Ellen Hoffman (Richard); his granddaughter Rebecca Mullen (James); his children, Matthew Berkebile, Aimee Wales (Austin), Ashleigh Miller, Brooke Sheeler, Will Sheeler and Julia Hoffman; his great grandchildren, Caden Mullen and Anderson Wales; his siblings, Gloria Kimmel, Earl Sheeler, Roy Sheeler, Harold Sheeler and Lois Jean Hearn; and his caregivers, Patti Brown, Katie Tresise and Tammy Mayhugh.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services (494 W Main St, Somerset, PA 15501). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Somerset Church of the Brethren (606 Berlin Plank Rd, Somerset, PA 15501).
