He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Milton and Sadie Cassidy (Zimmerman); and his siblings, Alice Witt, William and Floyd Cassidy.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Berkey; and his children, Wayne Cassidy (Carol) of Chruchville, VA, Roger Cassidy (Gina) of Chesapeake, VA, Robert Cassidy of Roanoke, VA and Barbara Rayman (Charles) of Central City. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
