He was predeceased by: his parents, Freeman Wilson and Mary L. Poorbaugh (Miller); his wife Catherine Kay O'Dell; his siblings, Donald, William Poorbaugh, Betty Smith, Peggy "Kate" Bowser and Robert; and his stepson Steven Berkebile.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Patrcia K. Mellen of Columbia, SC. and Cloyd Guy Berkebile (Jodi) of Indian Lake; and his sister Beverly Ashby of Texas. He is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
