It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Lydic (Somerset, Pennsylvania), born in Cresson, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 24, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walton Franklin and Rita Mae Lydic (Kaylor); his stepparent John W. Cassidy; and his brother-in-law Maurice "Brub" Rice. He is survived by: his wife Janet Anne Rygelski; his children, Rachel Beglan (Tom) of Frederick, MD, Kent Girard Lydic (Carlene) of Chantilly, VA, Garrett Lydic (Leslie) of Ocean View, DE, Karlene Lesho (Dave) of Leesburg, VA and Neil Lydic (Kathy) of Centreville, VA; his grandchildren, Hunter, Tanner, Drew Lydic, Derek, Scott, Lea, Kurt Lesho, Hannah and Sarah Lydic; his siblings, Lynne "Susie" Rice of Havertown, PA, Walton Philip Lydic (Charlene) of Ocean View, DE, Jacqueline "Jaci" Cassidy of Largo, FL and Ronald Rygelski; and his sister-in-law Eleanor Rygelski of Fox Chapel, PA.
