It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Luther Emert of Somerset, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 25, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Luther and Iva Natalie Emert (Burket); and his siblings, Paul, Clark Emert and Ethel Hull.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Jean Glessner; his children, John Emert (Kathleen) of Rockwood and Linda Humbert (Timothy) of Rockwood; his grandchildren, Bowie Humbert (Hannah), Samantha Porter (Dante) and Troy Emert (Keaton Engle); his great grandchildren, Oliver and Luca; his sister Jean Morris of Somerset; and his siblings-in-law, Martha Emert and Charles Hull.
