With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Max Ankney of Somerset, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 26, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Ankney and Anna Ankney (Miller); and his sisters, Treatice Willaman and Nadine Knupp. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Ankney (Moore); his children, Jeffrey (Patty) and Susan (Lawrence Mangin) of Vienna, VA; his grandchildren, Zachary Ankney of Somerset, PA, Thomas Mangin of San Diego, CA and Elizabeth Mangin of Richmond, VA; his nieces, Rebecca Fisher (Willaman) of Severna Park, MD and Bobbie Jo Naito (Moore) of Littleton, CO; and his nephew Kirk Knupp of Somerset, PA..

Donations in his memory may be made to the St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Shriners Hospitals for Children, or UPMC-Somerset Hospice.
