He was predeceased by: his father Robert Younkin; his wife Kimberly Jean Scheffel; his brother Gregory Younkin; and his grandson-in-law Joseph Baker. He is survived by: his mother Elaine Younkin (Burkett); his children, Amanda Burnsworth (Eric) of Somerset, Mark Younkin Jr. of Somerset and Renee Emerick (James) of Markleton; his grandchildren, Jessica, Brady, Damien, Christen, Cody and Aleah; his great grandchildren, Ayden, Elijah, Carson, Mayson, Cecilia and Adaline; and his sister Sharon Harrity (Bob) of Shanksville.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the funeral home to meet the needs of the family.
