We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2021, at the age of 97, Lloyd Shaffer of Somerset, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Jacob F.; his wife Ethel June Whipkey; and his siblings, Jacob, Fred Shaffer, Elsie Brougher and Catherine Berti.
He is survived by: his children, Lee Shaffer (Jean Mostoller) of Friedens, Rev. Jay Shaffer (Eyvonne Diehl) of Friedens, Rev. Nila Cogan (Larry) of Friedens and Tami Beggs (Jeffrey) of Friedens; his grandchildren, Brian Shaffer (Heather), Michele Shaffer (Chris Kusterer), Alisa Shaffer, Adam Shaffer, Rebecca Sensor (Joseph), Anna Hope (Alan), Robert Cogan (Chelsea), Elizabeth "Izzi" Shaffer (Ryan), Amber and Catherine Palomba; and his great grandchildren, Maxwell, Madeline, Molly, Jonah, Ruby, Persephone, Finnegan, Kara and Liam.
