He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel R., Sr. and Arlene L. Purbaugh (Goller). He is survived by: his wife Holly L. Purbaugh (Peterson); his daughters, Danielle R. DeJesus (Ryan DeJesus) and Zoee'B. Purbaugh (Mason Bailey); his granddaughter Layla E. DeJesus; his siblings, Lois Johnston, Linda (Steve Judy), Laurie (Bill Seifert), Lee Purbaugh, Samuel Purbaugh, Jr. (Tammy) and Keith Purbaugh (Tammy); his mother-in-law Glenda K. Peterson; and his siblings-in-law, Chris Adder (Jerry), Bradley Peterson (Regina) and Douglas Spiker. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
