It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John David Berkey (Somerset, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 18, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George R. Berkey and Georgia R. Berkey (Boyer); his brother Theodore "Ted" Berkey; his siblings-in-law, Fred Jay and Kathleen "Kay" Speigle; and his nephew Ryan Jay Speigle.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Karen Berkey (Speigle); his siblings, Greta Ludlam, Donna Salley of Hollsopple, Wendall Berkey of Jenner Twp and Karen Bertolasio of Friedens; and his siblings-in-law, Connie Berkey of Jenner Twp and Ronald Speigle of Jenners.
