She was predeceased by: her brother Stephen Michael. She is survived by: her friend Jesus; her fathers, Stephen Onstead and Fritz Onstead; her husband Kyle William; her daughter Penelope Christianna; her brother Madison; her uncle J. R. Onstead; her grandparents, Jim and Martha Onstead; her stepmother Shari Onstead; and her close friends, Melissa Younkin and Erin Kern.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Kister Family Medical Fund at Somerset Trust Company so the family can donate to the University of Pittsburgh's Brain Tumor Immunogenetics Laboratory at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center.
