He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren K. Hay and Ida Hay (Ream); his siblings, Ella Marie Hay (Frances Patterson), Billy and Nellie Hay; and his granddaughter Lydia Hay.
He is survived by: his wife Coletta Hay (Farkosh); his children, Ann Cober (Brad), David Hay (Kathy), Susan Halverson (David), Jay O. Hay Jr. (Bridget) and John Hay (Beth); his grandchildren, Jayme Tirres (Michael), Thomas Halverson (Jenny), Bradley Cober Jr. (Andrea), Jessica Baker (Bryan), Heather Miller (David), Timothy Hay (Heather), Brent Will (Karen), Shawn Will, Olivia Hay, Jay O. Hay III, Marlee Loftus, Julia Bell (Nolan) and Emily Hay; and his great grandchildren, Luke, Karley, Bella Tirres, Vance, Laney, Grant, Mackenzie Halverson, Arianna, Paityn Cober, Meredith, Myah Baker, Cohen, Gretchen Miller, Harlan Bell, Ella, Callie, Carson, Chase, Mia Will and Mason Reed.
