In loving memory of James W. Hale of Somerset, Pennsylvania, who departed this world on April 5, 2025 at the age of 92. James leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James S. Hale and Sadie Hale (Shroyer); his wife Mary Ellen Hale (Baughman); his son Robert Michael Hale; and his sister Henrietta Iscalene Wright.
He is survived by: his children, Ellen (Randy Brown), Catherine (Robert Taylor), James Hale (Debra) and Edward Hale; and his grandchildren, April Vasos, Malinda Brown, Matthew, Mandy, Jody, Sandy and J. R. "Bucky". He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hoffman Funeral Home - Boswell (409 Main St, Boswell, PA 15531). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
