He is survived by: his wife Mary Esther Ash (Faidley); and his children, James Edward Ash Jr., Tina Ash Forney (Terry), Jeff Ash (Linda) and Carolyn Ash Beeman. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
