He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark W. Hoffman and Anna Ruth Hoffman (Swank); his son Jeffrey; and his siblings, Marion Beistel and William Hoffman.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hoffman (Nicklow); his children, Brian Hoffman (Christine) of Somerset, Carolyn Hauser (Timothy Tewell) of Crochranton, PA and Bradley Hoffman (Mica) of Cochranton, PA.; his grandchildren, Barrett Hoffman, Amber Wittmann, Anderson Hauser, Mitchell, Colton and Wyatt Hoffman; and his great grandchildren, Daelyn, Daxon Lintz and Rylee Hoffman.
