It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Faidley Sr. (Somerset, Pennsylvania), who passed away on September 22, 2018, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Bruce and Mary Grace Faidley (Sanner); his son Ray Faidley; his granddaughter Melissa Faidley; and his siblings, Mary Ann Faidley, Ruth Sheele, Harry, Charles, Elmer, Ray and Norman.
He is survived by: his spouse Bessie Mardell Lyons; his children, Shirley McDonald (William) of North Carolina and George Faidley Jr.; his spouse Sharon Landis of Berlin; his grandchildren, Michael McDonald, Chris McDonald of George, David Jr., Denise Faidley, Christina O'Connell, Lucinda Beggs, Lance Faidley and Landon Faidley; and also, David Faidley, Donna Snyder of Friedens, Randy Faidley, Judy Edmiston of Rockwood, Larry Faidley and Tracey Emerick of Somerset. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
