He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Wallace and Elsie Jane Pyle (Reese); his wife Kathy Louise Brant; his son David Martin Pyle; and his sister Bernice Revello.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Pamela Dawn King of Johnstown, Robert Squires (Wendy) of New Windsor, MD, Christine Penzera and Philip Meyers of Markleton; and his brother Philip Pyle (Robin) of Joppa, MD..
