We bid farewell to Ella Mae Rubis of Somerset, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 10, 2024 at the age of 92. Ella touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband James Rubis; and her parents, Michael Mihalik and Marie Cresswell. She is survived by: her children, Jacquelyn Power (Christopher) of New York, Jerry Moody (Darla) of Somerset and John Rubis (Michele) of Massachusetts; her grandchildren, Courtney, Caroline, Devin, Desirae, Shaylee, Sierrah and Savanah; her great grandchildren, Rylee, Emerson, Hadley and Boone; and her siblings, Joe Tirko and Shirley Drake.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Halverson Funeral Home (476 W Main St, Somerset, PA 15501). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (433 W Church St, Somerset, PA 15501).
