She was predeceased by: her parents, James G. Steckman and Luella Steckman (Layton); her husband First Sargent James W. Kimmel; her son Douglas J. Kimmel Sr.; and her siblings, Howard, James, John, Elmer, Margaret Kovack, Dana Engle, Mary Metzgar and LaVerne Edmonson Weyandt (Melvin Custer).
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Kay Lynn Kimmel; and her grandson Douglas J. Kimmel Jr. (Jarrod J. Piper). She is also survived by neighbors, friends and family.
