He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward C. Szewczyk and Kathryn B. Szewczyk (Baraniak); and his brother-in-law Dennis Leyman. He is survived by: his sisters, Linda K. Kopec (Tom Kane) and Martha L. Leyman; his nephew Jason Villa (Tara); and his great-nephews, Cole and Tyler Villa.
