It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Popernack (Somerset, Pennsylvania), born in Bobtown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 3, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent John Popernack; his grandson Lucas Popernack; and his siblings, George Popernack, John Popernack, Theodore Popernack, Mary Jane Popernack, Margaret Ann Everett and Betty Bollinger.
He is survived by: his parent Mary A. Popernack (Dorko); his wife Karen A. Popernack (Scavnicky) of Somerset; his children, Kerry Popernack, Sue Ellen Becker, Holly Popernack of Gainesville, GA, Mark Popernack, Tammy Broen and Melissa Dalesandry; and his sister Anna Marie Sowerbrower of Jennerstown. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
