He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Shockey and Nellie Shockey; and his sister Dorothy Jane. He is survived by: his wife Roberta Shockey (Grove); his children, Jeff (Debra), Kim McLaughlin (Brad) and Richard (Irene); his grandchildren, Chelsa McLaughlin Polonia (Tony), Jaime Shockey Wainscott (Benton), Austin Shockey (Stephanie), Madison Mclaughlin Duran (Chad), Carston Shockey (Winter), Landon Shockey and McKenna Shockey; his great grandchildren, Noah Polonia, Boone Wainscott, Amelia Wainscott and Peyton Shockey; his brother Richard Lee; and his close friends, Belinda Broadwater Valentine, Carol Cook, Connie Murray, Missy Arnold, Paul Sanner, George Bowman and Dee Caldarelli.
