He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Hofecker and Margery Hofecker-Mack (Findley); and his brother Leonard Hofecker. He is survived by: his girlfriend Linda Weigle of Somerset; and his brother Terry Hofecker (Deborah) of Irwin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services (494 W Main St, Somerset, PA 15501). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Berlin Brethren Church (620 Main St, Berlin, PA 15530). A burial was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Richland Cemetery (1257 Scalp Ave, Johnstown, PA 15904).
