He was predeceased by: his father Wilbert Murray; his wife Doris L. Murray (Rhoads); his daughter Patricia Spangler; and his siblings, Janet Poisal and Robert.
He is survived by: his children, Bradley Murray (Edie) of Friedens, Richard Murray (Sherry) of Somerset and Diane Murray of Somerset; his son-in-law Bob Spangler; his grandchildren, Dorian, Travis (Kateryna), Cody, Dylan, Kyle, Kelsey, Kerry Murray, Brooke Mastrocola (Steven) and Ryan Spangler (Libby); his great grandchildren, Victoria, Kristina and Evangeline; and his sister Nancy Grimm of Acme.
