He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight Dale and Marian Violet Miller (Ross); his grandsons, Jacob and Aaron Barta; and his half-brother Lloyd E-Von Sarver.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Ross; his children, Tonya Barta of Washington, PA, MGySgt Dallas Miller and Heather Hottle of Jacksonville, NC; and his grandchildren, Andrew Barta, Elias, Maggie and Augustus Miller.
