We are sad to announce that on December 10, 2021, at the age of 86, Catherine Poorbaugh of Somerset, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her former husband Cloyd G. Berkebile; and her son Steven Ray Berkebile. She is survived by: her husband Richard K. Poorbaugh; and her children, Patricia K. Mellen (Joseph) of Columbia, SC and Cloyd Guy Berkebile (Jodi) of Indian Lake, PA. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Paul's Presbyterian Church 1845 N. Center Ave. Somerset, PA 15501 or Somerset Hospital Auxiliary 225 S. Center Ave. Somerset, PA 15501.

“Kathy's husband Cloyd ,as well as his other siblings,were nephews of my mother,Louise Wirbick and she adored them.That relationship carried over to me getting to know Kathy. She was such a capable business woman. And, I recall how she was always dressed impeccably. She was also very friendly, smiling, joy filled and never too busy to stop and chat with me wherever l ran into her. I am saddened by her passing. My condolences to the family.”
