We are sad to announce that on August 22, 2024, at the age of 88, Arthur John Gotjen of Somerset, Pennsylvania, born in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher W. Gotjen and Elizabeth Gotjen (Walker); his siblings, Helen Gotjen, Charles, Merle, Floyd and Paul Gotjen; and his son-in-law John Thorn.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene J. Chapman; his children, Mark K. Gotjen (Lynne), Eric S. Gotjen (Dawn), Lana S. Thorn, Elizabeth A. Gotjen (Todd Crawford) and Deidre L. Gotjen (Eric Spingler); and his grandchildren, Christopher Thorn, Audra, Chynna and Caleb Gotjen.
