He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Brooks and Violet Brooks (Weaver); his grandson Chad Moore, Jr.; his brother-in-law Clark Keeler; and his in-laws, Walter and Hideko Rockey.
He is survived by: his wife Donna L. Rockey; his children, Michael C. Brooks (Pam) of Bellefonte and Jennifer L. Moore (Chad) of Zion; his grandchildren, Jordan Parks, Morgan Rhoads (Tyler), Camden Brooks, Wyatt Moore and Ella Moore; his great grandchildren, Axle Rhoads and Ridge Parks; his siblings, Thomas Brooks (Valerie) of Pittsburgh, Terry Brooks of Howard, Dale Brooks (Denise) of Zion and Cheryl Brooks-Keeler of Zion; and his in-laws, Johnny Rockey (Gwen) of Bellefonte, Mary Morgan (Perry) of Bellefonte, Gene Rockey (Sherri) of Pleasant Gap and Bill Rockey (Barb) of Howard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
