He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Mayes and Martha A. Mayes (Biggans); and his sister Connie Tyger (Mayes). He is survived by: his wife Trilby E. McKean; his daughter Marissa (Mayes); and his brothers, Ken and Gary Mayes.
