He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Chambers and Zella Chambers (Harnish); his former wife Wilma Lou Wenrick; his grandson John Kelly; and his siblings, Thomas, Ralph, Merrill, George, Ruth McGovern, Mae Tressler, Jean Repasky and Bernice Fye.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Balash; and his children, Gerald L. "Butch" Chambers, Jr. (Nancy) of Grassflat, Wanda L. Wood (Jeffrey) of Norwood, MA, Jennifer L. Chambers and Penny L. of Kittaning. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
