It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita Petrus of Smock, Pennsylvania, born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 5, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Plovock and Mary Margaret Plovock (Sintich); and her stepfather George Bozek (Michael A. Petrus). She is survived by: her sons, Michael J. Petrus, Thomas A. Petrus and Ryan G. Petrus; her grandsons, Buck Ryan Petrus and Bearon Michael Petrus; her siblings, Nancy Wiland (Gary), Thomas E. Plovock (Barb), Maribeth Kuzmicki (John), George Bozek (Cheryl) and Shawnee Bozek; and her sister-in-law Vanessa Plisko. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
