It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rene Grubbs of Smock, Pennsylvania, born in Ellsworth, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 12, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Jordan and Emma Jordan (Harshman); and her siblings, George D. Burwell, Harry, Elmer Jordan, Margaret Caster, Armeda, Alberta Edwards and Ruth Riggar.
She is survived by: her husband Ralph Grubbs; and her children, Ronald Grubbs (Marlene) of Smock, PA, Ruth Redshaw (Russell) of Smock, PA, Carol Maraugha (Joe Barkovic) and Robert "Butch" Grubbs (Betty Fleming) of Monarch, PA. She is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
