In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Douglas leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Douglas may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Jennings Sproul and Dorothy Sproul Friend (Means); and his sister Glenda Sproul Wheeler. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Sproul (Jackson); his children, Stephanie Bittner (David) and Steven Sproul; his grandsons, Colton Bittner (Emily) and Mason Bittner (Kaitlyn); and his siblings, Roberta Sproul (Moni), Gerry Jackson (Charles) and Garry Sproul (Bertha). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Crawford Funeral Home (1189 National Pike, Hopwood, PA 15445). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
