He was predeceased by: his sister Suzanne Smith; his grandparents, Edward, Margaret Kalish Beers, Clair and Alice Marie Heltebran Beckinger; and his brother-in-law Duane Guynn.
He is survived by: his parents, William A. Beers and Dorothy Beckinger Beers; his sister Karen Beers-Guynn; his nephew Joshua Smith (Kylie); his niece Emily Mencer (Austin); his brother-in-law Richard Smith; his friend Harley Tarr (Joy); and also, Poppy and Madilyn.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the L. L. Barthels Funeral Home (227 2nd St, Smithton, PA 15479). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Barthels Funeral Home (227 2nd St, Smithton, PA 15479).
