It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Hixson (Smithton, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 18, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Sherman Hixson; her son Bobby Hixson; her grandchildren, Marc Hixson and Amanda Hixson; and her brother Carl Nicolaus.
She is survived by: her parents, Carl Edward and Suzanna Burgan Nicolaus.
