He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond G Steiner and Clara Lisbon Steiner; and his siblings, Edward Steiner, Mary Curran, Richard Steiner, Raymond Steiner and Audrey Breckenridge.
He is survived by: his close friend Janet Reid (Zelmore) of Mt Pleasant, PA.; his children, Jennifer Steiner of Mill Run, PA and James W Steiner, Jr. of Smithton, PA; his granddaughter Kiera Shawley (Clayton) of White, PA; and his siblings, Irene Santello, Joann Bowers (David), Esther Gillis, Robert Steiner, Ronald Steiner (Maribeth) and Bonnie Schwab (Greg).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Slater-Rega Funeral & Cremation Services Inc. (730 W Main St, Mt Pleasant, PA 15666). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Middle Presbyterian Cemetery (4263 PA-981, Mt Pleasant, PA 15666).
