He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Weidner and Evelyn Weidner (Cope); and his brother-in-law Lee Pospischil. He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Papile of Mt. Pocono and Kathi Smallacombe (Dale) of Paradise Valley; his stepson Ian Hay (Beth) of Saylorsburg; his grandchildren, Melissa Smallacombe, Michael Papile, Brianna Walsh, Lindsey Levin, George and Lilly Hay; his great grandchildren, Colin, Michaela Walsh, Skylar Papile and Jordan Levin; his sisters, Judy Wunderler (Frank) and Connie Pospischil; his nephew Ronnie Pospischil; his niece Tami Lessig (DJ); his great-niece Emilee Pritsch; and his friend Judy Fiske.

In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances may be made to COTA DWG Celebration of the Arts, PO Box 249, Delaware Water Gap, PA 18327.
