It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Ray VanSickle of Smithfield, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 26, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. VanSickle and Judith VanSickle (Bartock); his wife Thelma C. VanSickle (McClanahan); and his siblings, Edgar VanSickle, Donna Jean VanSickle, Lawrence VanSickle, Charles W. VanSickle and Nancy Hall.
He is survived by: his stepmother Betty J. VanSickle; his son Jerry Ray Vansickle Jr. (Paula Weidel) of Grays Landing; his siblings, Lucy David of Uniontown, Joyce Lake of New Hampshire, Clark "Sonny" VanSickle of Farmington, Rosemary Goodwin of Brownsville, Wanda Sherry of Farmington, Myrtle Cole of Uniontown, Andy VanSickle of Uniontown, Phillip VanSickle of New Salem, Mable Wilson of Farmington, Walter VanSickle of Chalk Hill, Brenda Braham of Bruceton Mills and Edward VanSickle of Bruceton Mills; and his pet Candy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Crawford Funeral Home (1189 National Pike, Hopwood, PA 15445). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
