He was predeceased by: his wife Janice C. Thompson. He is survived by: his son Thomas R. Carpenter, Jr. of Smethport; his grandson Tommy James Michael Carpenter of Kane; and his siblings, Ralph Carpenter of Kushequa and Mary Carpenter of Eldred. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
