He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyt J. Wheeler and Ruthie Phillips Wheeler; his former wife Sarah J. Haun; his children, Elmer R. Wheeler and Jeannie L. Wheeler; and his sister Ruth Ann.

He is survived by: his wife Shelly Wheeler of Smethport; his son Robert Wheeler, Jr. (LuAnn) of Tioga; his stepchildren, Dustin Krott of Pittsburgh and Allison Krott of Rixford; his siblings, James Wheeler, Hoyt D. Wheeler, John Wheeler, Dorothy May and Rita Jo Wilson; and his grandchildren, Katelyn Wheeler (Vinny Mayer) of Erie and Chance Wheeler of West Chester. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions in Bob's memory can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
