He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Burlingame and Gladys Schmaus Burlingame. He is survived by: his wife Genevieve Burlingame of Smethport; his children, Linda Torres of Fort Lauderdale, FL, John Sheffer of Smethport, Tim Sheffer (Dianne) of Eldred and Bill Sheffer (Ruby) of Portville, NY; his sister Elaine Nelson (Larry) of Albuquerque, NM; and his grandchildren, William Michael Sheffer, Jordyn Taylor Sheffer of Timothy and Kiesha "Angel" Sheffer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
