It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maurice L. Nielsen (Smethport, Pennsylvania), born in Atlantic, Iowa, who passed away on March 5, 2019, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold P. Nielsen and Maren C. Christensen Nielsen; and his siblings, Nadine, Joyce, Sharon, Evelyn, Orval, Harold and Vic.
He is survived by: his spouse Patricia "Pat" Connor; his sons, Scott Nielsen (Maria) of Smethport Two, Steve Nielsen (Melissa) of Smethport Two and Shawn Nielsen (Jennifer) of Smethport Two; his grandchild Danielle Keech (Ryan) of Maidsville, WV; and his brothers, Donald Nielsen of Avoca, IA and Douglas Nielsen (Sharon) of Tuscola, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
