With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan M. Chimenz of Smethport, Pennsylvania, born in Camden, New Jersey, who passed away on October 31, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Stoker and Theresa Hoffman Stoker; her husband Leo J. Chimenz; her sister Rita Rees; her siblings-in-law, Al Rees and Mildred Trepeta; her grandson Cody Smoker; and her great grandchild Candace Smoker.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Smoker of Bradenton, FL, Robert Smoker (Cindy) of Pooler, Stephen Smoker (Linda) of Port Allegany and Joellen Wykoff (George Felker) of Port Allegany; her stepdaughter Carol Cognato (Nate) of Long Island, NY.; her grandchildren, Michael Smoker, Stephen Smoker, Terry Smoker (Melissa), David Smoker, Jack Smoker (Julie), George Smoker (Nikki), Steven Smoker, Nikki Keely (Eric) and Ryan Lindsay (Sheila); and her nieces and nephews, Rene Barnard, Danny Kauffman, Denny Kauffman and Rodney Rees.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masking and social distancing will be required at the church during visitation and services.
Memorials may be made to St. Garbriels Church or the Women's Club.
